Recreation

Main Street Stores in Chinatown Chinese attractions include the Chinese Cultural Centre, the Lotus Light Lei Zang Si Temple, and Sun Yat-Sen Garden. Other parks tend to be at the waterfront extremities, wither south along False Creek or Portside Park on the water with excellent views of the harbour and the North Shore mountains. Also close-by are the SeaBus terminal to the North Shore, and Stanley Park.

To the south are the indoor pursuits at BC Place Stadium, GM Place, The Plaza of Nations, and Science World as well as the city's various performance theatres.

Schools

The neighbourhood has no schools but is close to the downtown public library. Both Simon Fraser University and BCIT have downtown campuses.
