The Keith Lynn area centered on Calverhall Street is close to the Lions Gate Studios, where TV shows and movies are filmed, the Second Narrows Bridge and Capilano College. Along Main Street is a business & retail district, including the Park & Tilford Shopping Centre, and to the south is a container port and a rail yard. Shopping Just down the hill is the Park and Tilford Shopping Centre, with shops, restaurants and services, including a liquor store and a movie theatre. Locals can head north on Mountain Highway to the Lynn Valley Centre. Schools The area is served by Brooksbank Elementary and Ridgeway Elementary, Sutherland Secondary school, and the Keith Lynn Alternate School for special education. The public library is west on Keith at Lonsdale or to the north at Lynn Valley Mall. Capilano College is relatively close by. Recreation The community has a number of parks, including along Grand Boulevard and had a wild park with a ravine bordering along the Upper Narrows Highway. Lynn Creek has a wide band of parkland with recreational trails on the northeast side of the Upper Levels Highway, leading up to a suspension bridge or down to an observation tower on the waterfront. There is also a manicured garden at the Park & Tilford Gardens (at the south end of the shopping centre). Homes The residential streets are quiet and pleasant, with post-war bungalows and 2-storey homes with views of Burrard Inlet to the east and Mount Baker to the south.
