Wascana, Woodland, Windsor - Regina neighbourhoods
This is the newest area in the southeast, recently built just east of Prince of Wales Drive. has a number recently built subdivisions, and is nestled southeast of Highway 1, and west of Prince of Wales Drive. Assiniboine Ave to the southwest, provides quick access to Highway 1 and points west (like the University and the airport), and Arcola Ave (Highway 33) provides the main (though lengthy) route into town.
SchoolsThe community's public elementary and Catholic schools are just across Prince of Wales, the public library is beside the Leisure Centre. High Schools for local students are a commute. The University of Regina is accessible via Highway 1. ShoppingShoppers generally head to the Victoria Square shopping centre to the north, with its "category killer" stores. RecreationThis community is in the middle of a range of recreational opportunities. There is a Leisure Centre in the middle of the community and the Wascana Country Club is to the south. To the south is Wascana Waterfowl Park, connected by parkland and a recreational pathway. To the east is the Glenridge Little League and Pacer Sports Park. HomesHomes in this area are mostly detached, with several townhouse/condo developments. House prices in Wascana View range from $168,000 to $270,000, in Woodland Grove homes range from $143,000 to $172,000, and in Windsor Park from $125,000 to $265,000.
